♥ Eggplant

okay so we decided to bbq lastnight and i love putting veggies on the grill, especially eggplant. and for the sauce we used this honomu jam thing, which if you live in hilo you can pick it up at the farmer's market. and if you not on the bigisland you can order it online. i'll post a picture of what it looks like, and in the picture it shows there website. grant and i really enjoyed it and i hope you folks do too. =)

3 eggplants (sliced long ways in half)
2 tablespoons of the honomu hawaiian passion fruit jalapeno pepper
4 tablespoon butter
extra virgin olive oil
hawaiian salt

first oil the eggplants, make sure you cover it well in oil so it doesn't stick to the grill, and add your hawaiian salt for flavor. put it on the grill, until it's almost soft and has grill marks. then in a pan melt butter and add 2 tablespoons of the hawaiian passion fruit jalapeno pepper. and mix well. cut eggplant in bite size pieces and add it in the pan mix well and serve =)
